Everything will change and gone by the time, everyone should be aware that it has managed and arrange

Let we see what is happen with the world around two or three years ago, all the people in the world scared and worry cause the pandemic as we know this virus spread out to every where without anyone can stop it. That real and happen in front of you all, but we can’t do anything to help or protect myself to hide from this virus.

This is a description of the condition a few years ago and we all life under scaring and have to follow the healthy protocol from Government such as: using masker, clean up your hand every time, keep the distance, avoid crowded and many thing should be undergoing during this phase.

Finally and Big Gratefully we could say thank to the God for time being since last few month condition of pandemic getting down event it is not finish yet. We are able see for all sectors begin the activity with the small scope. But this is sign of the world will get up and stand up again for the new normal.

Big or small we can do that is the proven we are changing to get success together in 2022. Business will develop this year, factory will product again all staff will active supplier is coming and reseller with all stake holder will start to do the activity, trading will running, tourism will open again then everyone can travelling so hotels will get the best occupancy for the best revenue.

Let’s be a part of this process and enjoy free life in the new normal for everyone.

Story in the end of 2021


I am sitting in my favorite chair and still write some article to completed my story. I am fine and everyone know around the world impact due to pandemic., hopefully all people will get better their live, work and financial as the spread of virus Covid-19 decreases.

As tourism people which is very big impact and make some hotel closed till don’t know when it will reopen again. Many people jobless and can’t fulfill their daily need. ironic this case make suffering for them. This is a big part condition of all people in 2021. Reality, fact and happen in this year !!!

But this is the last day or end of this year 2021. This is Amazing Year, will end, will closed with “many best and bad memory” All of this will be an extraordinary memory for each of you. Lets say good by for Year 2021 !!!

Lombok island is grow up now for Tourist Destination. It is not like neighbor, I mean Bali which is the best and done for tourism already. As you know Lombok island closed to Bali just 1 hour 45 minutes by Fast Boat from Bali to Lombok. Cause of this condition become advantage for Lombok as second place to spend their night.

Just like normally tourism destination Lombok have some wonderful and beautiful place and should be visit. We share some interesting place which is very popular in Lombok, as below :

  1. Senggigi Beach is the most popular in Lombok and has been top destination in Lombok because this is central tourism in west of Lombok. The beach with white sandy and the best of sunset point. Senggigi Beach location very strategies and some accommodation or hotel with 5 star till 2 star you can find here.

 

2.  Kuta Beach Lombok, the name is the same as Kuta in Bali but this place have some different unique  point from Kuta Bali, so it’s very interesting with white sandy and soft wave all day.

3. Gili Island, we mention Gili Island as one places to visit cause location this island closed to Lombok and stil part of district of North Lombok. Lombok has three Gili the first Gili Air, and Gili Trawangan then Gili Meno

Target Revenue have to increase and hit the budget are always become problem Sales team at Hotel. Management just know what the owner and Head office need are good performance month by month and make sure get the monthly budget.

Sales team have been given list of monthly budget and this is as barometer to work everyday. Sales person will make  Sales Plan and Action Plan on monthly budget afterward all planning have to implement on Sales Daily Activity.

Sales person also should be know about all planning they have made and it must know some point to get the target, some point as below :

  • Market segment
  • Point of sales to the market
  • Strategy to sell the product
  • Timing

All of this point will help to find how to sell with the correct customer with match strategy and on the best timing. Beside sales person activity in the off line it means do sales, meeting with customer, exhibition etc, Sales person do corporation with online travel to help maximize revenue.

As we know all property will work and do corporation with online travel agent to support their property through online side. Online Travel will have big part on selling one property because with this corporation, Hotel or Villa will not spend much money for marketing expends, just pay for commission based on their production.

Yes,  you do the best way to get more profit which is your revenue will increase on this time.

When economic principle happen, it will impact to your revenue, It mean revenue will increase on positive demand. Above example is one of Simple Revenue Management we have implement on our daily activity.

But this system must guarantee with credit cards and ussualy no change and no cancellation otherwise will charge for first night if threre any booking cancelled.

 

After you get information about destination and the best hotel will use in your holidays, you should prepare all we be need such as :

–          driving licence

–          administarion letter for travelling

Hotel international with four stars or more should have a strong sales person to support all activity in the hotel. And Sales Department could be sale all hotel products.

In a few Hotel usually Sales and Marketing into one Department or one team, this depend on hotel condition and policy each Hotel, because both activity interlaced each other. All venue in hotel and function normally are result from sales call, table top, road show or others activity sales person.

All activity in the hotel especially for big event who sales person handle such as:

  • Gathering
  • BBQ dinner
  • Wedding Party
  • Meeting
  • Conference
  • Outbound
  • Etc

And many Hotel activity could be cater in hotel, it make sales person have to flexible in hour of working time. And it’s not possibility if sales person always working in office hours.

Sales & Marketing Manager has important duty to arrange and manage all people in charge to cover all the function. In the organization chart sales and marketing Department at least have section such as:

  1. Sales Executive
  2. Corporate and Government Sales
  3. Food and Beverage Sales

Each section is very important to supporting and to set going into operation. Sales department and Hotel activity  of course need supporting from all department in the hotel.

Department supporting should be able do their duty as a team to make succeed all function and event in hotel. Others department who related with function have been sale by sale person as below:

  • Food and beverage Department: will handle all dinner, gathering, wedding and many activities in the hotel and everything related with food and beverage.
  • Engineering Department: department will manage power (electricity), stage, lighting, preparation for sound system, decoration and etc.

They are very important and need good relationship with Sales and Marketing Department because the function will be succeeding with their support.

As a sales person should be more flexible and could make good relation with all people in charge in each department so that we can make good communication regarding request from customer. Sales person also could be persuasive that all we do for Hotel revenue and the impact with service charge for all employee.
